Windows shows a warning the first time? That’s expected.
MenuTome isn’t digitally signed yet. That’s why Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time you open it. Here’s what to do:
- Click “More info” — the small blue text under the warning.
- A button labelled “Run anyway” appears — click it.
- Installation starts normally from there.
The message does not mean a threat was found — only that the file doesn’t carry a digital signature yet. Windows shows it for any new, unsigned program, whoever made it. The installer comes straight from our public repository, where you can inspect it yourself: github.com/Brixton84/menutome-releases.
New in version 0.7.44
Pro and Max can be booked — the open beta has ended
All changes in this version
New
- The open beta has ended. From this version on, the Basic, Pro and Max tiers apply: Basic stays free (one finished book of up to 15 pages, with a watermark), Pro and Max are monthly subscriptions. Collecting and designing recipes remains unlimited on every tier.
- What you exported during the open beta stays exportable and does not count against the one free book of the Basic tier once the beta ends.
- Buying Pro and Max: “Choose Pro” or “Choose Max” under “Subscription & licence” opens the Lemon Squeezy checkout in your browser, in the language of the interface. After your purchase, Lemon Squeezy emails you your licence key — you paste it under “Subscription & licence”.
Fixed
- In the English interface, the confirmation of an immediate start now refers to the English withdrawal information (menutome.com/en/withdrawal.html), and the help on withdrawal names the way via the English pages.
